| Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is perched on
the rim of the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater. It is built mainly from natural
stone and local wood and timber. The panoramic windows encompass a superb
view of the 311 sq. km crater teeming with wildlife. It offers breathtaking
view of the crater. It is 2,286 meters above sea level. 90 bedrooms in all,
a lounge with panoramic windows and an observation deck.
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is poised on the brink of adventure. From its
prime position on the eastern rim of the famous Ngorongoro crater, Ngorongoro
Sopa Lodge offers today’s safari participant sophisticated comfort
that Stanley, Livingstone, Speke and all others could only have dreamt
of.
The lodge boasts more than 100 rooms all equipped with two queen-sized
beds, carpets, fully tiled bathroom with bidets and hair dryers, and private
lounge with mini bar. A beautiful swimming pool overlooks the crater.
Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built into the rim of the caldera, the
plant and ivy-covered native stone blending masterfully with its surroundings.
The lodge has guest rooms that are spacious with central heating, prehistoric
cave paintings and balconies overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. The furniture
is created from rich hardwood timber. The lounge and dining room are indoors,
overlooking the Crater. Log fires greatly enhance the atmosphere, especially
in the evenings. The lounge has a balcony with a fixed telescope for guests'
use.
Ngorongoro Farm House
Located in the Ngorongoro Highlands, the farm is only minutes from the
Ngorongoro Crater entrance gate. Ten spacious luxury bungalows are each
decorated in an original colonial style, complete with private baths.
Additional facilities include a swimming pool and two dining areas.
The 500 acre working farm on the slopes of the crater features a 6 acre
organic vegetable garden which not only supplies the lodge, but many other
lodges and our mobile camp operations throughout the northern Tanzania.
Enjoy fresh roasted coffee from the on site 15 acre coffee plantation.
The farm also has home grown pigs, free range chickens, ducks, rabbit,
lamb and milk cows. These fresh foods are combined with the fish imported
from the coast enabling us to serve up abundant, fresh, organic cuisine.
Tarangire River Camp
The camp overlooks the Tarangire River and offers stunning views of the
meandering river, the vast plains across the park, Lake Manyara, the Rift
Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands. Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro are easily
viewed from each tent. Ten spacious luxury tents are complete with running
water including attached toilet and hot water showers. 220v solar power
is available 24 hours a day. Delicious meals are served in the mess tent
under a majestic Baobab with attentive service.The luxury camp is about
3.5 km from the main gate of Tarangire National Park.
The camp provides close access to premier wildlife viewing areas of the
park. Additional activities include tribal visits with Datoga and bush
walks with Maasai who live in the area.
Tarangire Treetops
Tarangire Treetops is a luxury safari lodge located on the eastern border
of Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. It is famous for its renowned
treehouse architecture.
Most people travel around these Northern Parks of Tanzania by Landrover
and Tarangire Treetops is a wonderful place to stay either at the beginning
or at the end of such a trip. Being just two hours out from Arusha, Treetops
also makes an great stand-alone safari destination for residents of Arusha
coming out for weekends in the bush.
As well as the accommodation, Treetops also tries to offer a serious
game-viewing experience, with guided walking safaris and game-drives in
the camp's own open-sided safari vehicles. The camp is also becoming increasingly
well known for its night safaris, designed to catch the animals at their
most active.
